About
Michael KArseboom

I've been writing all my life, driven by the need to bring these ideas out of my head and into reality, capturing the moments that've shaped my journey. Storytelling has enabled me to develop and explore new worlds, share experiences, and bring my imagination to life.

How Mothership Came about:

Mothership didn't just spring from a random idea. It was born from my deep-rooted passion for combining various technologies, storytelling, and creativity.

I wanted to create a world where AI was not just a tool, but a character, one that was friendly, loving, and most importantly, safe for young readers. They could think together and have different personalities, working together to solve problems. This book is more than just a story; it's where the newest technology, teamwork, and adventure come together in endless possibilities.

Fun Facts About My Process

  • Tech Meets Storytelling – My background in technology and engineering played a significant role in shaping Mothership.

  • 3D-Printed Illustrations—Unlike traditional children's books, the illustrations in Mothership are a product of cutting-edge technology. They began as 3D models in 3DS Max, which were then 3D-printed and refined into their final designs.

  • A Story for All Ages—Mothership is not just for young readers. Its themes of problem-solving, teamwork, and futuristic adventures are designed to resonate with teens and adults, making it a story for everyone.
